Intro to BIM - Lunch & Learn

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING

Overview and discussion of BIM and the latest construction technologies.  We will discuss the software typically used including Revit, Navisworks, and Sketchup as well as walk through some examples of how the programs can be used to quantify, animate schedules, and perform clash detection.  We will also give an overview of construction specific hardware such as drones, laser scanning, and robotic layout.  Lastly we will take a look at cloud-based communications for projects to see how to manage the flow of project data.
