Jeff Dentzer

Director of Business Development, Great Lakes Region - Shook Construction

Jeff Dentzer brings over 25 years of experience working in the construction industry, serving as Director of Business Development for Shook Construction’s Great Lakes Region. Jeff is responsible for new business development and client relationships; new market research, development and promotion; marketing and sales process improvement; and strategic plan development. Jeff is a wealth of knowledge, specifically in collaborative project delivery methods like Construction Manager at Risk and Design-Build, and is seasoned in assisting owners through delivery method selection. Jeff oversees the technical writing in various RFP/RFQ pursuits and has led presentation training throughout the company in preparation for various client interviews. He is also actively involved in numerous organizations throughout Northeast Ohio, including the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) NE Ohio Chapter where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019, ACE Mentor Program of Greater Akron-Canton, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Northern Ohio Society of Healthcare Engineers, and the Cleveland Engineering Society, to name a few.

Marketing Content Manager - Shook Construction

Kayla Stucke graduated from The Ohio State University in Marketing with a minor in Communications Technology in 2013. Shortly after, she started her career in the AEC industry where she had to learn how to decode technical jargon, produce proposals, adjust to the deadline-driven environment, and wear many marketing hats. Today, she’s found a way to pursue her passions within the industry. Working at Shook Construction as a Marketing Content Manager, Kayla produces content for the company's internal and external communication efforts, including managing the website, intranet and social media; writing thought leadership, PR articles, and award submittals; taking photos; creating videos; and more. She has also interfaced with many clients throughout her career, providing value-add services such as writing technical grants, creating reports, developing project websites, and drafting communication updates to support the owner throughout the lifecycle of the project. She enjoys storytelling and highlighting the impact of the projects on the community and various stakeholders. Outside of her daily responsibilities, Kayla is actively involved in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), serves as the Board Chair and Past President of YCP Columbus where she has spoken at numerous events including the YCP National Conference, and is a marketing volunteer with Grace Refuge Outreach Worldwide (GROW).
