Cleveland Guardians Workshop Series Recap

While planning for the Progressive Field renovations continue, work has begun with the Cleveland Guardians Community Benefits Program.

The Ballpark Renovations Project Management Team held a three-part workshop series over the past six weeks in the Progressive Field Terrace Club.  These three events were designed for diverse companies to "Scale Up Your Business for Success" and featured more than 100 attendees total.  The Guardians expect to host more workshops like this throughout the project.

The Project Management Team is also planning for their first Community Review Group Meeting later this month.  The Guardians recognize support from the community will play an important role in advancing diversity and inclusion efforts for their renovations so this group of local leaders will meet three times a calendar year for 90 minutes.  Prior to bid packages being released, additional workshops will be held to help prepare small and diverse companies for readiness to bid, on this or any projects.

Construction on the Progressive Field renovations won't begin until the conclusion of the 2023 baseball season, but bid packages will be distributed approximately mid to late Spring 2023.
