Reed ran against Bibb in the 2021 mayoral primary, but went on to endorse him in the general election against former City Council President Kevin Kelley.

Construction Inclusion Week

In 2020, a group of general contractors: Gilbane, DPR, Turner Construction, Mortenson, McCarthy, and Clark Construction Group created a consortium titled Time for Change with a single purpose: identifying ways to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in construction.

Through this effort, Construction Inclusion Week was born. The inaugural Construction Inclusion Week is  October 18, 2021-October 22, 2021.
