Mayfield Heights to Issue $33 Million in Bonds for Community Center/Pool Project

City Council approved Monday, May 23, 2022, an ordinance that will pay for the planned new community center and pool, which city leaders hope will be ready for use next May or, at the latest, June.

In Lakewood, City Council gave its unanimous approval to the framework for an agreement with a Columbus-based real estate firm for a proposed $90 million development at the former downtown hospital site.

On a cheerful, rainy Monday, April 18, CEA and Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity celebrated an exciting groundbreaking. More than 50 Construction Employers Association (CEA) members and fellow union contractors are donating their time, talent, funds and materials to build a Cleveland Habitat house in the Greater Buckeye neighborhood. This fully-funded all-union construction build - a first for Cleveland Habitat - will be their 14th house on Grandview Ave. and the 83rd in the Greater Buckeye area since 2016.
