City Council approved Monday, May 23, 2022, an ordinance that will pay for the planned new community center and pool, which city leaders hope will be ready for use next May or, at the latest, June.
The ordinance allows for the issuance and sale of up to $33 million of notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds to cover the construction cost for the project, to be built at the former Ross C. DeJohn Community Center site at 6306 Marsol Road.
