Owners and contractors should be knowledgeable in the various contract forms and their associated risks. Among the most common construction forms are 1) lump sum, 2) cost plus a fee and 3) the hybrid, cost plus a fee with a guaranteed maximum price. Each allocates risk differently and has different benefits for the parties.

Regency Construction Services Promotes Two to New Leadership Roles

Janelle Hinkle and Scott Wagner recently assumed new leadership roles at Regency Construction Services Inc., where they have spent most of their careers.

Hinkle is the vice president of construction operations. She provides overall direction to the day-to-day construction operations of the company. Janelle also chairs Regency’s Safety Committee.

Wagner takes on the role of vice president of corporate operations. In addition to overseeing the company’s business operations, he continues to lead business development and marketing.
