Georgia Gallagher & Family awarded The Bernard H. Gallagher Career & Technical Scholarships to Cameron Ekechi and Adriana Petitto in the amount of $500 each at the Parma Council of PTA's Annual Scholarship Dinner on May 15, 2019.  Both students are graduating from Parma Senior High School this year.  Cameron will be attending Kent State University to study Construction Management, and Adriana will attend Bowling Green studying Middle Child Education.

Georgia and her husband, Bernard, both graduated from Parma Senior High School in 1970.  They were both in the Vocational Studies – Georgia in BOE (Business Office Education) and Bernard in Machine Trades.  Bernard eventually attended West Side Institute of Technology and became a Stationary Engineer.  Bernard passed away in 1987 after a battle with cancer.

Georgia currently is employed at Cook Paving & Construction Co., Inc. as the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant/Payroll Clerk.

Their dream was to someday pay it forward and offer scholarships to other Vocational students.  This dream has now been realized by offering these two scholarships.  Georgia and her family hope to continue offering scholarships to other (Vocational) Career & Technical Students in the future.
