On Monday, September 14, Gov. Mike DeWine on Monday signed legislation to temporarily give businesses, health-care workers and schools legal immunity from coronavirus-related lawsuits.
A recent survey by the Ohio chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business found that 70% of entrepreneurs in the state are fearful of such a lawsuit, according to an NFIB-Ohio release.
