Member Spotlight: Regency Construction Services

Meet CEA Member Tari Rivera, President of Regency Construction Services, Inc.  Her company is known for contributing to incredible pillar projects in the community like Lakewood City Schools, MetroHealth, Cleveland Metroparks Stillwater Event Center, Ohio State University, and many more. 

Tari’s business began when she turned a closed door into an opportunity. She works to lead projects with integrity and build an environment where everyone feels respected and valued. Regency CSI has completed projects for the public and private sectors in the Cleveland and Columbus markets, and in the three decades since it was founded, the focus on quality and trust in their people has helped to expand from three employees to over 80.  

As a female founded business, Regency is committed to strengthening diversity in the construction industry. This is put into practice by hiring and developing minority and female staff members within the organization and by engaging countless diverse partners and subcontractors. They lead the industry by example and take pride in their record for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Tari believes that having a respected and quality organization reflects its people. She encourages her staff to be involved in their communities, providing opportunities for service to churches, alumni associations and local nonprofits and allows their interests and passions connect with their industry and trade skills.  

Being a part of CEA has really helped Regency CSI to network and build new and lasting relationships with other members, unions and trade schools in the area. Tari believes that by investing in training and development, providing diverse opportunities for growth and communicating the importance of each and every person on the team helps her staff to recognize the value of their efforts and is the key to retention of great employees. CEA has helped Tari with these initiatives by providing access to resources such as Cleveland Builds and the ACE Mentor Program.
