The Construction Employers Association’s generous members make an impact in the community in many ways. Enter Stella Maris - the oldest detox and sober house in the United States. It is conveniently located on the west bank of the Flats in Downtown Cleveland and easily accessible for those who need it. Founded in 1948 by seven members of AA, Stella Maris continues to be a safe haven for Clevelanders seeking addiction recovery. Stella Maris is an asset to the construction community, and construction owners have been known to take their workers here to support their journey to sobriety, because family comes first in construction.
