How many years have you worked in the industry?

What attracted you to the construction industry and what do you enjoy most about your job? 

What attracted me to the construction industry was that growing up my dad was a laborer. My mom worked for the same company, Precision, but in the office. Years later, both my brothers began working at Precision. The job opportunity was presented to me and I took it.

Have you had any mentors throughout your career? If so, who were they and how did they help you in your career. 

I would say both my brothers have helped my at work with knowledge and any questions that I have. The supervisors and fellow journeymen have always been willing to show/teach me things and help without an issue.

What advice would you give other women that are considering or new to the construction industry? 

Not all women are made for this industry. My advice to other women would be is to always give 100% and to always at least try. What my seem hard to do, might actually be easy if you try.

Tell us what you like to do in your free time or give a fun fact about yourself. 

In my free time I usually spend time with my daughter. We do anything from having lazy days to beach time in the summer and snowball fights in the winter.
