The city of Cleveland and its school district are seeking proposals from developers on what they would do with 19 former school sites.
The sites, mostly on the East Side, include 12 former school buildings and seven vacant lots. Cleveland Metropolitan School District owns the land, which comprises more than 61 acres of land and 967,000 square feet of building space in all.
Developers must submit their materials by April 30, and the city plans to notify those they initially select by May 31.
