Tell us about your company
We are Institutional, industrial and commercial construction managers. We design, build and serve as general contractors

What are the favorite part(s) of your job and why?
Since I started, many years ago, I have always enjoyed the process of transforming a vision an owner and architect have into the final constructed buildings and all site amenities. It is a very rewarding process and makes you proud to be a part of the evolution of the landscape within many communities.

What has been the key to your company's success thus far?
The key to our success is following our company motto, “We Care.” We work as a team to build each building with care, attention to detail and quality, as if it’s our own. Every person in the company is “part of the family” and we try to treat each other - the owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors - with compassion and care so we can complete projects that we all are proud of for many years.

What has been the key to your success?
We are always trying to stay up to date with the latest technology and incorporate those systems to help to be more transparent and build better buildings.

How has Panzica Construction Co. benefitted from its CEA membership?
I joined CEA in the late ‘70’s. I was young back then and learned so much from other contractor members who were always there to share their experiences and knowledge with me which helped me grow and flourish in our business. I tell people all the time that there is no better way to help you and your business than to be part of CEA.

What is the importance of mentoring and inclusion?
As I stated above, CEA has always been a “Mentoring and Inclusive” group for me as a member. I am so grateful for all that I have learned and benefited from as a CEA member because of that atmosphere. We MUST give back to others as we grow in life and am happy that we are working to help others as they move through their growth journey to be better contractors. My mentors were the contractors who were thriving when I was first starting out. Many of them are pictured on the walls of past presidents of CEA. They were very kind and always there to support me. That is not often found with rival companies. It is a blessing CEA has that culture.

How does Panzica Construction Co. find and retain talent?
As a company, we are always working to find and retain talent to help us grow. As I said above, we try to treat everyone as if they are family. It is important to us that our people practice an active balance of work and family time. Families treat each other with respect and kindness and we hope we all do that with our clients too every day as we work together to help our clients see their dreams turn into reality.

What would you say to someone at the beginning of their career in construction?
I tell people often, as I get calls or meet people who want to get into the construction industry, that this is a very rewarding industry to grow in and live a balanced, prosperous life. As I listen to them and discern their interests, I suggest to them that the construction industry can help them reach their life’s goals, both from a personal satisfaction standpoint as well as a rewarding financial pathway, while still having time for their families. I am very thankful for my time in this industry and cannot think of a better way to have lived my life for me and my family. I have made many longtime friends along the way and cherish those friendships very much.
