How many years have you worked in the industry? 9 years 

What attracted you to the construction industry? Initially, the opportunity to make a good wage and the benefits. Then, as an owner it was to run a company that provides an opportunity for others to do the same. 

What do you enjoy most about your job? I enjoy the people who work for my company and to say that we had a part in shaping Northeast Ohio. 

What advice would you give other women considering the construction industry? Take the leap and do it. It is hard work but is rewarding and you can make a career out of it. Work hard and learn as much as you can. Those two things will make you valuable to the company you work for. 

What can be done to attract more women to construction? The best thing to do to attract women to the industry is to highlight the women who are already doing it. It is important to show women working in all aspects of the industry. 

What do you like to do in your free time? I volunteer for my son's school and sports teams. He is a senior this year so I guess I will have to find a new hobby.
