How many years have you worked in the industry? 30 Years

What attracted you to the construction industry? Growing up I was surrounded by engineers and architects. I spent a lot of time outside and in my dad's workshop making planters, wooden toys, and furniture, so buildings were just a natural progression.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Driving through northeast Ohio, it is nostalgic to look back and see all of the buildings I have been able to be a part of. It brings back memories of the people I had the opportunity to get to know and I can see the impact to the community.

What advice would you give other women considering the construction industry? The construction industry is a very rewarding industry. Be open to grow the knowledge you already have, as no two projects are erected quite the same.

What can be done to attract more women to construction? Providing exposure to all of the architectural designs and building projects that encompass ideas of conservation, renovation, and reuse could insight the younger generation's desire to create a better society for all.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I like to read, hike, bake, participate in .22 matches, shoot trap, go to the theater and the POPs Orchestra, and just explore the USA.
