How many years have you worked in the industry? 20 Years 

What attracted you to the construction industry? I love problem solving and working with others and grew up helping on our own home renovations. 

What do you enjoy most about your job? I really enjoy all the diverse aspects of each project; the people, the challenges, the designs. It's great to see how so many backgrounds can come together and achieve anything as a team. 

What advice would you give other women considering the construction industry? Don't be afraid to ask questions, it's how you learn and grow. Asking questions lets you better understand constructability, design intent, desired functionality, finances, and especially people's perspectives and backgrounds. 

What can be done to attract more women to construction? Continued support of STEM programs from grade school has been so beneficial to increase new growth; we now need to ask and actively listen to what they need for support of their continued career growth and personal life balance. 

What do you like to do in your free time? Much of my free time is spent at my son's sporting events or with extended family, and we love going to parks and getting outside as well as traveling as much as possible.
